A Guide to Better Breasts in 2018

When females consider their own body image, their breasts tend lead the list. Having completed over 7,000 breast augmentations, I have heard many reasons for choosing to make a change.

Motherhood. Aging. Substantial weight change. Every motive shared highlighted an influence on the female’s self-confidence. Each case also came with an array of questions.

Here are the top three breast issues that I hear from my patients with my solutions for them.

1. Normal Looking, Bigger Breasts

“I am considering implants; However, I really don’t want my breasts to appear imitation — is that possible?”

Yes! Larger, but still organic appearing, breasts are completely possible. Actually, I often endorse the “Gummy Bear” augmentation. The teardrop shape and gummy bear-like feel provides an extremely natural-looking augmentation. In reality, I have completed over 1,700 of those surgeries and recently released study in a scholarly journal relating to this brand-new kind of implant.

Gummy Bears can also be a great choice for females unhappy with a previous augmentation. Through time, I have completed many breast implants for patients not happy with the dimensions, contour, symmetry or positioning of the implants, even if implants have ruptured or discharged, when a substantial quantity of body weight was dropped, or if a patient has suffered from breast cancer.

2. Breast Shape

“How do I get my pre-motherhood breasts back?  And if I get surgery, will I still be able to nurse?”

Your first step ought to be finding a surgeon who both listens to you and has the experience to recommend the right procedure for your needs.  For instance, when I do breast implant surgery on moms, I use a “nipple-sparing” technique that preserves breast feeding capabilities, so my patients who wish to breastfeed in the future can do so.

Choosing to have a breast lift is also an alternative process for moms that can radically alter your profile, reviving breast firmness and perkiness.  And finally, for women who may have had more than 1 pregnancy or are undergoing decreased elasticity and sagging, choosing fat grafting may be another great alternative.

3. Reducing Size

“My large breasts have been a cause of pain and self-consciousness since I was a teen.  No matter my fitness, they stay the same size!  What can be achieved?”

First, please understand you’re not alone! A lot of females realize that a mammaplasty, or breast reduction, can be a life-enhancing surgery that alleviates years of tangible pain, self-consciousness and exhaustion. In fact, a lot of women are genetically predisposed to large breasts, which means exercise and diet may have no effect.  Because breast reduction can often be combined with other processes, my strategy is to first hold a consultation with you.  During that time, we carefully think about your cup size, health, and goals, and from there decide the best procedure or procedures for you.  Breast augmentation and breast reductions are popular cosmetic procedures for women for a number of reasons.
